Don't measure yourself — measure a nighty you already own and love the fit of. It takes about a minute, and it's far more accurate than guessing from a body measurement.
Your chest size — use this number
40inches
Now match this against the chart for the style you're buying, below.
The three steps
-
Lay a nighty you own flat
Pick one that fits you comfortably. Smooth out any creases and lay it on a bed or table, front facing up.
-
Measure straight across the chest
Run a measuring tape from one side seam to the other, just below the sleeves. This is your chest length.
-
Double it, then check the chart
Because you measured only the front, multiply by two to get the full chest size. Match that number to the size chart for your style.
For example
Chest length measures 20 inches → your chest size is 40 inches → find 40 on the chart and order that size.

Before you order
- Measure a nighty that already fits you well. Measuring one that's too tight or too loose will carry that error into your new size.
- Between two sizes? Take the larger one. Nightwear should never pull across the chest.
- Our nighties are cut for a relaxed fit, so they're meant to fall away from the body rather than follow it.
- Cotton can settle slightly after the first wash. The relaxed cut already allows for this.
Still unsure? Message us your measurement and we'll tell you which size to order.
